We are aware that scammers are targeting legitimate Planning and City Commission agendas and public documents. They are sending invoices to developers for fake fees, trying to pressure them into wiring funds under urgent deadlines. If you have any questions about the documents you receive, please contact our Community Development office for clarification.

The City of Walker Community Development Department (CDD) works with residents, contractors, and design professionals to review, inspect, and enforce planning, zoning, building, and trade permit applications. It also verifies compliance with the Zoning Ordinance, International Property Maintenance Code, and Michigan Construction Codes, promoting safe, harmonious land development between different uses that align with the goals of the Walker Master Plan.
